This next part confuses me. Her dad thinks she's a beginner so she's buying her an UNexperienced horse? That makes no sense at all. She should have her instructor talk to her dad and help them find a horse. Then, she should also bring him along for the test rides when she is looking for a horse. There isn't really much she can do, most parents can result in any excuse to say no to a horse. It is ALOT of trouble. He probably just doesn't want his daughter to buy him and then in a few years lose interest. It's only normal. As well, he should go with her with trying out horses and watch her test ride them.
