Well, her Dad needs to see her ride. Anyway, if she IS a beginner, what she needs is a very experienced horse, not a green youngster! That way, the horse will teach her. Good luck.
References :
Make a video of her riding so she can show it to her dad, or simply bring her dad along to see her ride. This next part confuses me. Her dad thinks she's a beginner so she's buying her an UNexperienced horse? That makes no sense at all. She should have her instructor talk to her dad and help them find a horse. If he buys a horse obviously not knowing anything about them, it'll end up a disaster.
References :
you could either get him to go and watch her ride or get a riding instructor to talk to her dad about how good a rider she is and that a more experienced horse would suit her much better
References :
Have her go onto dreamhorse.com and look for horses on there because there are lots of horses that are for sale that her dad would probaly a prove.there are also lots of horses on there that are beginer and experienced horses that know how to jump. So if her dad knows it could be a beginner horse he might say yes then she could do wat she wants to also,
References :
well, she should talk her dad into coming along with you guys for the lessons. Then, she should also bring him along for the test rides when she is looking for a horse. There isn't really much she can do, most parents can result in any excuse to say no to a horse. It is ALOT of trouble. He probably just doesn't want his daughter to buy him and then in a few years lose interest. It's only normal. In my opinion, she should keep up the lessons for a few more years to make sure that she won't give up. 3 years isn't much, i've seen MANY MANY people give up.

good luck
hope i've helped
References :
my head

I think you should get her and her dad along to a lesson with a fairly hot horse so that he can see for himself.

As well, he should go with her with trying out horses and watch her test ride them. These things should help!
