    I worm my horses …
I worm my horses once every 5 weeks and my farrier comes once every 6 weeks. I only keep shoes on my main riding mare during show season and sometimes during the first part of winter but I let the hoof rest during the winter mostly. I get her teeth floated once a year, as well as her yearly coggins before shows and her yearly vaccinations before show season starts. Don’t listen to them please listen to your vet, all horses are different

    It really depends …
It really depends on the horse but you don’t have to shoe a horse to keep their feet up, also some places it’s good to have a vet out twice a year, farrier month to 2 months and teeth floated one to two years, roughly, mostly depending on the horse. You are way better than the other 3 ladies on expertvillage.
