Okay so basically, i look and feel a complete idiot when i trot, i bounce up and down so quickly and constantly, that i cant keep in rhythm with the horse (btw it is rising trot).
I know it’s only my second lesson, but everybody else has the hang of it already:( and i keep embarrassing [...]

Im a horse riding beginner and have only done once lesson yesterday which was the last time in years, and i really enjoyed it. But my next lesson isn’t till next week:(
So i was wondering until then if anybody has any exercises i can try out at home?
Also my back is agony, is that normal?

Yesterday was the first time i rode a horse in years, and i really enjoyed so i am definitely going to stick to the lessons.
But i can never seem to keep my back straight:(

What should I do to help me when I show him becuse he always ignores me. I have to do like 20 1/2 halts for him to understand what I am asking. Then I have to do more for him to do what I told. My shoulders hurt after i ride him. [...]

My 9 year old daughter absolutely adores horses and really wants to take lessons – we do not own a horse and I need to find a school that teaches riding lessons for beginners as she does not have her own horse – please help!

I’m a beginner interested in reasonably priced horse lessons not too far from Toronto.
I live in Toronto and I take lessons.
There are a couple of places IN Toronto but they are pretty expensive ($60 per group/$735 8 week beginner course).

Hey, i’m going to college soon to do a BTEC National Diploma and then and Honours degree in horse management, i already have loads of experience and my friend has asked me to teach her to ride.
Got any beginner lesson plan ideas? Detailed one would be good, in bullet points.
