If you thought the Grand Prix was impressive, wait til you see this. The weather was a bit rubbish, but it didn’t seem to dampen the spring in this horse’s step! You gotta be impressed by all the extented movements into collecteds. Wowee!

    This freestyle is …
This freestyle is only going to get better and better. As a dressage rider myself one of the things that i would like to see is a square halt without the rollkuer or behind the bit. His free walk could be more consistent and relaxed.

Natural beauty is revealed with time taken, feel and love. To honour the beautiful horse and horsemen who use kind hands please sign the petition on website: wu-wei-verlag and clicking on: Officials! Stop Hyperflexion! Riding these magnificent animals can be wonderful but there are sadly some that abuse the generosity of these animals with the use of a quick fix hidden from the untrained eye. Sign and study the tragic physiological effect of Roll-kur. BHS supports petition.

    Why do people need …
Why do people need to be at this level or need to be a judge to have an opinion about somthing? My personal opinion is that even some of the top judges cant see the difference or dont care about the differece between horses trained with classical dressage and horses ruined be hyper flexion. btw im not implying that these to use hyper flexion. I can only fantisize about rides like this for now! :) They are an amazing pair!!

    I love this horse, …
I love this horse, he’s amazing.

Also I have to agree with what several others have said, unless you’re a judge or a rider on the level that his is at… why even bother to say what he should be marked down for and so on? Clearly you’re not that good yet and the judges know what they like.

  7. GrandPrixGirl3 Says:

    this is so …
this is so incredible! he is a great rider!

  8. horseofthemoonlight Says:

    I completely agree …
I completely agree with that comment! several people say they know what is right and wrong with this horse. when you are a listed judge, grand prix rider and you have ridden THIS horse several times, then you can start saying what he did right and wrong. but for now, lay off the critique.

  9. sk3lt0n Says:

    it does amaze me …
it does amaze me that people who aren’t even a trainee judge try and comment on what the horse should be marked on. . . please people when you’re a grand prix rider and a A listed judge then leave a comment!

It’s not jealousy, but just commenting on what is thought to be correct and incorrect…
For example, if I comment and the fact that a horse is not marked down for being BTV during movements, it’s not because I’m jealous, but because I think he should be marked down and so on…

  15. Breyerpeep Says:

    I kinda sucks …
I kinda sucks because if this is whats winning not very many horses in this world are going to be able to compete with that. Impressive, but I don’t find if enjoyable to watch.

    Hahaaha I know …
Hahaaha I know right? From the advice I see on YouTube its a wonder they are not judging the olympics. xD

  19. Greatal1 Says:

    Only trying to …
Only trying to promote CORRECT dressage training – and suggesting that the FEI rules be followed…. or changed !! In my opinion the judges have just got so use to seeing this style of riding that they have come to expect it and think that it is correct.

  20. movinon5 Says:

    Good thing you’re …
Good thing you’re on youtube to tell all the experts they’ve got it all wrong.

  21. Greatal1 Says:

    Yes, the knees do …
Yes, the knees do almost touch his nose – BUT SHOULD NOT according to the FEI dressage rules the hind canon and front canon bones should be parallel – so again not deserving of the numerous ‘perfect 10’s’ that he receives!

  22. RubyScarlettP Says:

    Moorlands Totilas(i …
Moorlands Totilas(i don’t know what his paddock name is) knee’s pretty much touch his nose!!! For a horse who’s only 9 he’s doing brilliantly!!:P

  23. LaPrairieLoire Says:

    Ah yes, he may …
Ah yes, he may move well – but are we watching a showing class or FEI dressage competition?
If an FEI dressage competition then the FEI rules need to be more closely adhered to.
If showing class, then yes he deserves 95% !!

  24. FreakFaceofUtopia Says:

    Perhaps all the …
Perhaps all the advocates of Edward Gal should watch this video…Edward Gal en Moorland’s Totilas clinic NIC Zuidlaren deel 1… it might be enlightening. I’d like to say you don’t have to be a pro to know what is right and wrong, in fact most experts don’t know, let alone care, what is wrong at all.

puts paid an old proverb disparaging horses with four white feet!!

Yes if I were to design a horse to order it mmight look and move like this one!
