oh my god.. i work with these riders… u lot have no idea how difficult it is.. even all the show jumpers we had dinner with that night wer sayin at least they jus point and kick… Its a very very particular job and not easy.. its like slagging off a runner by saying hes just not good enough..WTF??!! back off
November 5th, 2009 at 8:07 am
actually she could …
actually she could be slightly less stiff in her position
the horse could be in a much better poll position and be slightly more through and engaged
but no one is perfect
i think its poll position isnt fantastic
November 5th, 2009 at 8:07 am
ok her hands could, …
ok her hands could, arguabley be more foreward and up- but theyre still and are balancing and creating a nice contact in front
she backs it up with her leg and sear so its OK
but her seat is lovvelyy
November 5th, 2009 at 8:07 am
whoever this is she …
whoever this is she rides well : )
im aussie so m guessing shes german or european?
no guys she was a good seat and a strong, correct position for classical (normal) higher level, and in fact all levels of dressage
she is connecting the horse and engaging it through the use of her seat shes correct
her hands are soft and are creating an ELASTIC, definite contact- its not stiff or rigid, the horse is moving into it from behind like its so engaged and “through”.
its nearly the ideal – g

Good job the rider …
Good job the rider had a Grand Prix horse, and that the ride knew the comands to give, otherwise this would have been a complete car crash..!!
And i agree with “tomacsrubin” COMPLETELY..
Great horse, shame about the rider…

WOW! you guys/girls …
WOW! you guys/girls are getting in quite a bickering about this ride, horse and rider.
I am sure there was a reason the judges found this ride worthy winning. Classical Dressage with long reins(thomas?) Once you get your horse to this level you need to have a certain amount of “collection” for the horse to be able to do all the moves required for this level….(mopperson/MLFive) she has a nice deep seat good hands and the whole package is beautiful, this is not huntseat equitation. =0)
