They are so realistic, and come in many different molds, breeds, and colors. I collect them for the realism. I also do some customizing, which is a lot of fun. i think that if you want to get back into horse, Breyers are the way to go, especially if you cannot get a real one. you can show, customize, and make tack for them. It is like the entire horse world in miniature. Best of all, there is no age limit to this hobby. I have always loved horses, my Grand Father had some while I was growing up and the models were my parents way of letting me have my own.
