As said in the question what is the difference between a beginner and a novice horse back rider? I have always wonder. Thanks! :)

A beginner is someone who doesn’t know squat….and a novice has little experience but not in the situation to teach someone else

Firstly, a beginner is someone who has never ridden before.Secondly, A novice has ridden before but is not yet good enough to become an intermediate horse back rider and is not fit to teach someone else to ride. If for whatever reason, a novice does teach a beginner to ride, it could result in injuries and the fear of horses.
    Hope this helped…

in the interscholastic equitation association shows, the beginners are the girls who walk trot canter, and the novice riders flat and do cross rails
